Cooking VR sim for PC

Cooking Simulator VR is a cooking simulation game that was developed by GameBoom VR for PC. This VR-specific title offers players an immersive experience as they take on the role of a chef that has access to a fully-equipped kitchen and a variety of recipes to learn and master.

Compared to another similar game called Cooking Simulator, Cooking Simulator VR has the upper hand when it comes to graphics and visual fidelity. Being a VR game also adds to the realism and more involved and interactive gameplay on the part of the player.

How do I play it?

Cooking Simulator VR is a game that will let you live out your dream of being a professional chef. It comes with two modes, namely Career and Sandbox Modes. The former will have you start out as a nobody and slowly build your skillsreputation, and turn your restaurant into a top-tier food joint. The latter is a do-whatever-you-want fare, wherein you can experiment and cook anything.

Where would a chef be without a proper kitchen, and it is an aspect where Cooking Simulator VR handily delivers. It features quite a polished and detailed setting, complete with all the things you'll need, complete with over 80 recipes and more than 140 ingredients to choose from. What's more, it features realistic physics and cooking mechanics that provide you with haptic feedback through your controllers.

In practice, though, the overall cooking experience is a mixed bag. While it features great graphics and was built upon solid game mechanics, its controls need a lot of fine-tuning to make the gameplay more enjoyable. Not to mention, you'll need a powerful machine for the game to run and perform smoothly. It just needs more work to iron out some more quirks.

Almost great

There is no doubt that Cooking Simulator VR is one of the most polished and detailed cooking sims available today. In its current state, though, there is some more work to do with regard to its control before it can truly shine and be an enjoyable and immersive experience. Once that happens, this will be one of the best out there.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
